2. Secondary central nervous system muscular atrophy caused by congenital malformations, such as hydromyelia, encephalomyelia, spina bifida, myelodysplasia, prolonged syringomyelia, etc.

3. Primary lesions of the anterior horns of the spinal cord or the motor nuclei of the cranial nerves in the brainstem and their pathways can lead to muscle atrophy. For example, motor neurone disease, including spinal muscular atrophy in infants, progressive bulbar palsy in minors, familial and hereditary juvenile spinal muscular atrophy, etc.

4. Cerebral muscular atrophy, which is a rare disease. Generally, atrophic lesions of the cerebral cortex, especially lesions of the parietal lobe of the cerebral hemisphere in childhood, congenital strong development of the motor area or space-occupying lesions deep in the cerebral hemispheres, inflammation, etc., are all causes of facial muscle atrophy.

5. External infection: Facial muscle atrophy caused by genetics, poisoning, metabolic abnormalities, infection, allergic reaction, etc. This classification has little clinical significance because the cause is difficult to determine at the moment.

6. Low immunity: Facial muscle atrophy is related to physical weakness and disease interference, such as menopause, long-term fatigue, weak constitution, and long-term 7. Being in a sub-healthy state, suffering from nervous system diseases, upper respiratory tract infections, lymphangitis, mumps, otitis media and other inflammations. People with facial muscle atrophy should develop good living habits, have a regular schedule, and maintain a good attitude.

8. Psychological factors: The onset of facial atrophy is related to psychological factors and stimulation, such as stimulation by cold air, which causes temporary physiological discomfort, thereby causing temporary neurological discomfort, namely facial paralysis.

2. Daily care for facial muscle atrophy

1. When caring for patients with muscular atrophy, high-protein, high-vitamin and easily digestible foods should be selected. Through reasonable nutritional matching and proper cooking, the nutrition and energy in the patient's diet can meet the body's needs.

2. Patients should not take foods that are detrimental to their condition and highly irritating foods, such as chili peppers, especially those in the acute phase and those with yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire.

3. Generally, therapeutic food should not be cooked by frying, roasting or stir-frying, so as to avoid destroying its effective ingredients or changing its properties and losing its therapeutic effect. The nursing methods for muscular atrophy are steaming, boiling, stewing, and making soup.
