There is yellow on the bottom of the teeth

Not everyone's teeth are healthy. The reason why we can see that celebrities' teeth are so shiny, bright, and very white is because they have undergone special treatment. As they are public figures, they will naturally pay more attention to their image. However, as ordinary people nowadays, they also pay more attention to their image, so everyone often goes to the dentist. When there is something yellow at the bottom of the teeth, they also need to go to the hospital for a dental examination.

How to treat yellow teeth?

Cold light teeth whitening is a fast and safe teeth whitening technology. Low temperature cold light will not irritate the dental nerve. Traditional bleaching agents can cause teeth allergies, but the main ingredient of cold light whitening is hydrogen peroxide, which will not cause allergies. During the whitening process, it does not come into contact with the gums at all and will not cause any damage to the tooth structure. It is absolutely safe.

Laser teeth whitening is achieved by using a laser whitening device to output a unique wavelength of a semiconductor to excite the teeth whitening gel that has been applied to the tooth surface in advance. The laser can then selectively act on the pigment particles in the teeth, catalyzing the gel to react with the pigment, thereby removing tartar, plaque, pigments, smoke stains and soft stains, and restoring the teeth to whiteness. Ordinary teeth whitening methods can only remove surface attachments of teeth or cover up tooth discoloration, but cannot fundamentally change the original appearance of teeth. Laser teeth whitening has made a breakthrough in this regard. It does not damage teeth and greatly reduces the possibility of overheating or sensitivity of teeth.

What to do if your teeth are yellow

There are many reasons for yellow teeth. First of all, the adhesion of pigments will cause yellowing of teeth. Pigmentation is related to smoking, drinking tea, and various pigmented foods. The second is the tooth itself. Its hard tissue is stained, and the reasons for the staining of hard tissue include dental fluorosis. Dental fluorosis is caused by the high fluoride content in the local water during the process of tooth development and calcification. The hard tissues of the teeth, especially the dentin, are stained, which is the color of the inner part of the tooth. In addition, enamel hypoplasia and tooth decay can cause changes in tooth color. When the pulp is necrotic or dead, the color of the teeth will also change.

Regarding teeth whitening, different whitening methods should be selected according to different causes. If the yellowing of teeth is caused by external factors, that is, pigmentation, the main method is cleaning and washing teeth to remove the pigment attached to the surface of the hard tissue of the teeth. At this time, our teeth will regain a smoother and whiter appearance.

The teeth cleaning process is not a one-time thing, because our teeth will be attached with pigments again after being cleaned, so teeth cleaning should be done once every six months to a year. Patients should also be educated to quit smoking. In addition, you should pay attention to your oral hygiene habits, rinse your mouth after meals, and brush your teeth twice a day, morning and evening. One is cold light whitening, which is a commonly used method of teeth whitening in dentistry.

It mainly uses a milder oxidant, hydrogen peroxide, to treat the hard tissue on the surface of the teeth, so that the yellow color inside the hard tissue of the teeth is covered. There are also veneers, including all-ceramic veneers. For more severe fluorosis or enamel-dentin hypoplasia, teeth whitening may not be effective, so porcelain veneers or all-ceramic crowns can be used to restore the beautiful appearance of the teeth.
