How to remove stains on the wall

After living in a house for a long time, it is easy for stains to appear on the walls. Some of them are formed naturally, while others are caused accidentally. Stains on the wall are difficult to remove, which is mainly related to the characteristics of the wall. If they appear in obvious places, it will affect the appearance of the room and make people feel very uncomfortable. In this case, you can try some methods to solve it. So, how to remove stains on the wall?

How to remove stains on the wall

1. For general wall dust, just wipe it with a clean towel. If there are particularly dirty marks, such as black handprints and footprints, you can gently wipe them with an eraser.

2. Use baking soda. Baking soda itself has the effect of removing stains. Dip a soft-bristled brush into a small amount of baking soda and water, and apply it to the spots on the wall. After it dries, you will find that the wall is as clean as new.

3. Use chalk to smear and sandpaper to polish off the dirt, but the flatness will often be affected. At this time, you can draw on it with chalk, the black dots will be rubbed off, and the chalk powder will fill in the crossed out parts.

4. If it is a water-resistant wall, you can directly scrub it with water. After washing, use a dry towel to absorb the moisture to prevent it from getting damp.

5. For children's crayon graffiti on the wall, use a clean cotton cloth dipped in a little facial cream and gently wipe it. The facial cream contains emulsifiers and has a good wax removal function.

6. If there are residual stickers on the wall that are not easy to tear off, it is best to heat them with a hair dryer first, wait for the tape to soften, and then gently tear them off.

7. For special stains of unknown causes, you can wipe them with a ball of bread, old wool socks or sandpaper.

8. If soy sauce is accidentally splashed, apply 1% hydrogen peroxide. After it works, you can also apply it to a large area.
