Shoes are very familiar to us. We wear shoes every day. Now there are many styles and materials of shoes. There are also many functional shoes and shoes produced according to different ages and requirements. When you wear a new pair of shoes, you may find that the shoes make a squeaking sound when you walk. When this phenomenon occurs, it can be solved with just a few small methods. 1. Dust Sprinkle some powder inside your shoes. Sometimes, the squeaking noise can be caused by the friction between the insole and the sole. Talcum powder, baking soda, or cornstarch will all work. After taking out the insoles, sprinkle some powder on the soles of your shoes. Then put the insole back and see if the insole and sole fit better. If the insole cannot be removed, rub the powder into the edges of the sole. These powders can reduce friction between the insole and the shoe. 2. Paper jam Stuff a paper towel or dryer sheet inside your shoe. If you don't have talcum powder on hand, using paper towels or dryer sheets can also help calm your shoes. Take the insole out first, then put the folded paper towels or dryer sheets in, and finally put the insole back into the shoe. 3. Shoe polish If the squeaking is coming from the soles of your shoes, you can try applying some powder to the bottoms and seams of the shoes. Just be careful when walking, because the friction between the soles of your shoes and the ground becomes smaller after applying the powder, making it easier for people to slip. Or try applying some shoe polish or leather care solution to the seam between the shoe body and the sole. Be careful not to apply too much, wipe off any excess polish, and let the shoes sit overnight before wearing them. 4. Wear socks If you wear shoes without socks, sweat from your feet will create moisture, causing your shoes to squeak. Wearing socks may be able to stop the squeaking. Try wearing socks for a few days to see if the noise goes away. 5. The sound will stop after wearing it for a while Some new shoes have a layer of sodium or polishing oil on the soles. After wearing the shoes for a while, the soles will be stuck with dirt and dust and the noise will stop. 6. Change the insole of high heels Remove the metal pad at the end of the heel and replace it with a rubber insole. This is the most effective and best way. It can usually be replaced at any shoe repair shop and it is not expensive. 7. Walk slower If you walk too fast, the force will be uneven and the sound of your high heels will be louder and at a higher frequency. To improve the reaction, walk slower and step lightly, controlling the force of your foot landing. Naturally, the sound of the heels hitting the ground will be smaller. |
