What medicine can children take to cure tonsil suppuration quickly

Tonsillitis is a disease that affects people of all ages. Once the tonsils become inflamed and are not treated in time, it is very easy to cause suppuration, further threatening the patient. Especially for children, since their resistance is relatively low and they do not know how to take care of themselves properly, once their tonsils become festering, it is very easy for them to do so. So what medicines should they take at this stage?

The tonsils are located in the tonsillar crypts and are the first immune organ in the human respiratory tract. They resist and eliminate pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses that enter through the mouth and nose. However, when the number of inhaled pathogenic microorganisms is relatively large or their toxicity is relatively strong, it will cause corresponding clinical symptoms and inflammation, namely tonsillitis. Tonsillitis is a common and frequently occurring disease in children. It is divided into acute and chronic tonsillitis, and is more likely to occur when seasons change or the temperature changes. Acute tonsillitis is an acute nonspecific inflammation of the palatine tonsils and a common upper respiratory tract infection. It may be accompanied by varying degrees of acute inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa and lymphoid tissue, manifested by fever, cough, and sore throat. In severe cases, the high fever persists and swallowing becomes difficult. Examination may show that the tonsils are congested, swollen, and suppurated. Chronic tonsillitis is a persistent infectious inflammation of the tonsils. It is mostly due to repeated attacks of acute tonsillitis or poor drainage of the palatine tonsil crypts, which leads to the breeding of bacteria and viruses in the crypts and the development of chronic inflammation. Examination may show enlarged and congested tonsils, or visible secretions, and swollen submandibular lymph nodes.

1. Open your mouth wide, press down your tongue, make an "ah" sound, and you can see the small pink lumps on both sides of the throat. These are the palatine tonsils, commonly known as tonsils.

2. Tonsils begin to develop at 10 months old, and the peak period of development is 4-8 years old. Therefore, the tonsils in this age group are slightly larger and stop developing around 12 years old.

3. Tonsils are the gateway to the respiratory tract. Especially in children, they are an active immune organ and contain lymphocytes and immune cells at various stages of development. They can inhibit and eliminate pathogenic bacteria and viruses that enter through the mouth and nose.

It is not recommended to give children frequent injections when they are sick. They can take some medicines with Chinese herbal ingredients, such as Pueraria lobata anti-inflammatory oral liquid and Lanling oral medicine. These two medicines have little side effects for children.

Parents should let their children drink more water and less beverages; eat less puffed foods, chocolate, biscuits, candies, etc. Young mothers should not take their children to shopping malls often, because the shopping mall environment is closed and there are many people, which can easily induce respiratory infections in children. In addition, parents should encourage their children to exercise more, such as dancing, running, swimming, playing ball, etc., which are helpful to enhance physical fitness and improve disease prevention ability.
