Many people will find that green mold spots appear on clothes that have been worn for a long time. These mildew stains may be caused by bacteria produced when clothes become damp. Therefore, many people put mothballs in their closets to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold. Mildew stains on clothes will affect the overall appearance of the clothes. So how should we remove mildew stains on clothes? Let’s take a look at it below. 1. Scrub repeatedly with hot soapy water several times, and then just scrub as usual, and the mildew stains can be completely removed;2. Soak the moldy clothes in rice water overnight to allow the remaining protein to absorb the mold. The next day, the color of the rice water becomes darker, and a lot of the mold stains have been removed; 3. The extremely difficult-to-clean mildew stains on clothing should be wiped with a 35-60 degree Celsius hot hydrogen peroxide solution or bleach solution, and then rinsed with water; 4. For mildew stains on cotton and linen fabrics, soak them with a dilution of 20 grams of ammonia and 1 liter of water, then rinse them with water; 5. Use cotton balls dipped in turpentine to scrub mildew stains on silk and wool fabrics, and then expose them to the sun to remove moisture; 6. Mung bean sprouts mildew removal: Put the tender mung bean sprouts on the mildew spots, rub them vigorously with both hands, then put some more mung bean sprouts and continue rubbing. The color becomes much lighter. Rub again. The hard work pays off. The mildew spots are gone. Finally, rinse with clean water and the problem is solved.7. The mildew spots on clothes can be exposed to sunlight first, then cleaned with a brush, and then washed with alcohol; 8. Soak the clothes contaminated by mildew in strong soapy water, take them out with the soapy water, and put them in the sun for a while. Repeat the soaking several times. After the mildew is removed, rinse them with clean water. 9. Silk clothes can be washed with citric acid and then rinsed with cold water; 10. Mildew stains on linen fabrics can be cleaned with calcium chloride solution;11. The stains on wool fabrics can also be cleaned with mustard solution or borax solution (add two tablespoons of mustard or two tablespoons of borax to a bucket of water); 12. Wipe with 2% soap alcohol solution (add a handful of soft soap flakes to 250 grams of alcohol and stir evenly), then wipe with 3-5% sodium hypochlorite bleach or hydrogen peroxide, and finally wash. This method is only applicable to white clothes, and old stains can be soaked in the solution for 1 hour. |
