How to recover quickly from a sprained back

How to recover quickly from a sprained back

In our daily life, sprains often occur, perhaps because of running too fast or being careless. Many parts of our body may be sprained, such as the legs, waist and back. For most minor sprains, a little rest and repair can cure them.

Nursing will help the wound heal. Some serious cases require other treatments. So if you sprain your back in daily life, how can you recover quickly?

Apply ice water to the affected area 24 to 48 hours after the injury to stop bleeding in the capillaries and relieve pain. Apply safflower oil after the cold compress. You can also apply hot compress and safflower oil after 3 days to reduce swelling and relieve pain. It usually takes ten days to half a month to recover. I suggest you go to the hospital if there is no effect after 3 to 5 days. Common muscle strains are those caused by excessive gravity. They are also prone to muscle strains if you haven't exercised for a long time and have been exercising for a long time (such as playing badminton for half a day or one or two hours after not exercising for a long time). If the arm muscle strain is not serious, it will recover in a week. If it is serious, it will take about a month. Other situations require separate treatment. It is best to go to the hospital for professional treatment and higher protection.

Methods Sports injuries that cause changes in the body's anatomical structure due to the direction of force acting on the injured part can be divided into strains, contusions, sprains, fractures and bone cracks.

(1) Strain: An injury in which the muscles, ligaments, and joints are stretched outward, causing changes in the local anatomical structure.

(2) Contusion: A blunt force injury that causes muscles, ligaments, and joints to extend inward (press downward), causing changes in the body's local anatomical structure.

(3) Sprain: An injury in which the direction of the force of injury is angular and twists the muscles, ligaments, and joints, causing changes in the local anatomical structure.

(4) Fractures and bone cracks: Damage to the body's bone tissue caused by external forces (or pathology), resulting in interruption of bone continuity. A bone fracture is an incomplete break. Willow branch fracture is a special condition of fracture in children.

Depending on whether there is a wound at the injured site that is connected to the outside world, it can be divided into open injuries and closed injuries.

(1) Open injury: There is a wound that communicates with the outside world. Skin abrasions, lacerations, puncture wounds, cuts, and penetrating wounds are all open injuries.

(2) Closed injury: There is no wound communicating with the outside world. General muscle, ligament and joint injuries are closed injuries.

According to the process of sports injuries, they can be divided into acute injuries and strains (minor injuries).

(1) Acute injury: a one-time injury to the body that occurs during physical activity.

(2) Overwork injury: In long-term and multiple physical training, due to repeated single overload activities of local tissues without timely improvement of the local burden, the local tissues are subjected to subtle changes in the body's local histology, resulting in damage. Such as chondromalacia patella, rotator cuff strain, and tensor patellar end-disease.

Other injuries: such as drowning in swimming, frostbite and burns in mountaineering and ice and snow sports, and heat stroke during summer sports.
