Tumor-type leprosy

Tumor-type leprosy

Lepromatous leprosy usually refers to a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae, which is distributed throughout the body. The lesions may affect the skin or nerves, and a series of symptoms will also appear.

1. Skin symptoms: After the onset of the disease, eyebrows or eyelashes usually become sparse, and may even gradually fall off. It can also induce skin damage, mainly macules or nodules. In severe cases, diffuse damage is likely to occur.

2. Symptoms of nervous tissue: The occurrence of nervous tissue damage is mainly due to the further development of the disease, which mainly manifests as muscle atrophy or deformity, and even limb disability.

Therefore, after the onset of the disease, you need to go to the hospital for relevant examinations in time, and at the same time, you need to do a good job of isolation to avoid cross infection or infection of other people. After the onset of the disease, you need to cooperate with the doctor in time to use aminofenadine, chlorpheniramine, and rifampicin. After taking the medicine, it can achieve the effect of quickly killing leprosy bacteria. In addition, you also need to cooperate with immunotherapy, mainly through transfer factor or levamisole as an auxiliary treatment for the disease.

During the illness, you must pay attention to adjusting your mood, avoid excessive psychological pressure or excessive tension, and you also need to go to the hospital regularly for relevant checkups to observe the control of the disease.
