How to boil quail eggs so they are easier to peel

Quail eggs are small in appearance and taste delicious, but in life you will find that when you eat quail eggs after cooking, the skin on the surface is very difficult to peel off. It often takes a lot of time to peel an egg. In order to save trouble, many people simply don't eat it, resulting in some people having to watch helplessly without being able to eat it. In fact, as long as you learn these little tricks, the shell of quail eggs can be easily peeled off.

Method 1:

1. Ingredients: quail eggs, ice cubes

2. Step 1: Wash the quail eggs, heat cold water in a small pot, then put the washed quail eggs in, cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, then remove and cool in cold water. (Don’t think that’s the end of it, there are some really good tricks below)

3. Step 2: Here is a great trick! Find a clean glass bottle and add a few ice cubes into it, then add an appropriate amount of cold water to the ice, finally put the cooked quail eggs into the bottle with the cap on, shake it vigorously up and down and left and right for dozens of times with your hands, then take the quail eggs out of the bottle and you can easily peel off the skin of the quail eggs along the crack.

Method 2:

Press the quail eggs lightly with your palms and roll them on the table to form fine lines on the eggshells. Then peel them by hand. It is quick and easy and the quail eggs can be easily peeled intact.

Method 3:

1. When boiling quail eggs, it is recommended to soak them in clean water for a while to avoid cracking during cooking. Generally, it will be enough to soak them for 3 or 4 minutes after the water boils.

2. After soaking, the quail eggs should be put into a pot with cold water and cooked on low heat. That is to say, pour the quail eggs and cold water into the pot together, and then pour the quail eggs in after the water boils. This can easily cause the quail eggs to break.

3. When boiling quail eggs, don’t forget to add some salt to the water, because salt can promote the contraction of protein and separate it from the eggshell, making it much easier to peel.

4. When the time is up, immediately take out the quail eggs and soak them in clean water. This can prevent the quail eggs from becoming too old, and it also allows you to peel them easily without worrying about them sticking together. This uses the principle of thermal expansion and contraction to further separate the egg white and the eggshell.
