Stuttering, also known as stammering, is a common symptom in life. If such people are excited and anxious, the stuttering phenomenon will be more serious. It is a kind of psychological fear. To treat it thoroughly, some comprehensive methods are needed. On the one hand, certain training is required, such as getting good training through tongue twisters, and on the other hand, psychological relief is required. Can tongue twisters cure stuttering? 1. Self-hypnosis therapy The role of self-hypnosis therapy is to eliminate fear. Currently, many psychotherapies (including stuttering psychotherapies) adopt slogan-like will-strengthening methods, such as repeatedly suggesting to oneself in one's mind, "I am a normal person, I can definitely overcome stuttering." Unless you are a very determined person it is difficult to succeed in this way. Self-hypnosis therapy is a technique that regulates the entire body and mind by hypnotizing a part of the body that is more susceptible to suggestion. After self-hypnosis, I feel relaxed and energetic. Hypnosis can eliminate fear and calm people. It can not only treat stuttering phobia, but also obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurasthenia and other neurotic disorders. However, self-hypnosis therapy must be carried out under the guidance of an expert. 2. Training of language expression ability In daily life, we often see that some people speak in a stiff tone, without a sense of rhythm, and with uncoordinated gestures. Some people, on the other hand, speak with clear pronunciation, well-proportioned high and low notes, a strong sense of rhythm, lively and natural facial expressions, and coordinated gestures. For him, language becomes an art. Due to long-term language barriers, stutterers generally have poor language expression ability. Doing some training in these areas can improve our oral expression ability and enhance our confidence in speaking. 3. Psychoanalytic therapy The founder of psychoanalysis therapy is Freud. It has been revised and supplemented by many Western scholars and psychologists and gradually developed into a more mature psychotherapy method. For stuttering phobia, we mainly conduct psychological analysis from three aspects: psychological state, psychological process and personality characteristics. (1) By recalling the experience in early childhood, the stutterer will understand that the fear is formed in childhood, and this fear continues into adulthood and is combined with stuttering. (2) Through observation practice, help people who stutter understand that normal people also stutter and that our stuttering is essentially the same as theirs. (3) According to Adler's inferiority complex theory, stutterers are a typical example of overcompensation for inferiority. Their personalities are often manifested in the following ways: a. They are overly sensitive to their own flaws and try their best to cover them up; b. They exaggerate their ideas, that is, they exaggerate other people's views of their stuttering; and c. They pursue perfection. |
