How to cook tapioca pearls faster

How to cook tapioca pearls faster

You can usually buy tapioca pearls in supermarkets or shopping malls. Making tapioca pearls for yourself is a very good choice. However, many people say that they don’t know how to cook tapioca pearls. Either the tapioca pearls stick to the pan or are not cooked through. Not to mention making sago. In fact, it is very simple to cook tapioca pearls. It is usually cooked by half-boiling and half-simmering method.

Ingredients

Small sago

step

Pour the previously boiled water into the pot. The amount of water should be based on the amount of tapioca pearls you want. It is best to add more because the amount of water will decrease as the tapioca pearls expand after being cooked. (Note: It must be boiling water, not cold water. If you pour cold water, you must wait until the cold water boils.)

Pour the tapioca pearls into a plate and rinse with water. (Note: Pour out the water immediately after boiling the tapioca pearls, otherwise the tapioca pearls will melt easily.) The tapioca pearls will expand when you cook them, so be careful not to put too much.

After the water boils, pour the tapioca pearls into the pot.

Cook over high heat first, and remember to stir at all times, because tapioca pearls will easily stick to the pan when exposed to heat.

After cooking over high heat for about 10-15 minutes, the tapioca pearls will gradually become transparent, with some white spots left. Now switch to low heat.

Just simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Use a sieve to filter out the tapioca pearls. Just take a cold shower.

Precautions

You must wait until the water boils, then fry the tapioca pearls and immediately pour them into the pot to cook. This is very important, otherwise the tapioca pearls will easily become soft and melt after being soaked in water.
