What to do if a bug flies into your nose

What to do if a bug flies into your nose

Everyone should hate insects in life. No matter what kind of insects they are, they have a great impact on people's lives. Moreover, most insects like dark pipes, and the human body has many pipe areas, especially the ears and nose, which are areas that insects like to visit. The nose is a very sensitive area in the human body and is prone to itching. So what should you do if a bug flies into your nose?

1. Nose structure

When flying insects enter the nose, it will cause itching and discomfort. Generally, people will spray the insects out by sneezing, and the nose has self-protection ability. There are curved nasal passages in the nasal cavity, and mucus is secreted to suffocate the insects. The nose hair can prevent foreign objects from running rampant in the nasal cavity. If the insects do not fly out, they may be stuck in the nose. The insects will most likely die from lack of oxygen. The nose will feel strange after the invasion of foreign objects, and the mucus will be activated to wrap up the insects, and they will be brought out together when you feel like sneezing or want to press your nose.

2. Inhalation time

More than 80% of the insects cannot break through the numerous traps set by the nose, and most of them will die if they fly in. However, some people happen to inhale insects into their noses when they inhale. In this case, the insects may be carried into the trachea through the airflow, but the possibility of being carried into the lungs is very small. They will be stuck to the liquid secreted in the trachea and then coughed out of the body.

3. Special bugs

Some small insects will release substances that make people uncomfortable. If such small insects enter the nasal cavity, it will be more difficult to eliminate the strange feeling than ordinary insects, such as small moths, flies, flying ants, etc. Do not pick your nose hard. Such insects may think they are attacked and release toxic and harmful substances. People who can react in time should stop breathing immediately, then block the nostrils where no insects have entered, inhale through their mouths, and then forcefully spray out the insect in the other nostril with an airflow. If you still feel uncomfortable, you can go to the hospital to see an ENT doctor to check whether the nasal cavity is infected and inflamed, and whether you need to drop some anti-allergic or anti-infection drugs.
