The human body must control the speed of eating during the eating process. I believe that adults will pay attention to this, but some children often cannot do it. If you eat too quickly, it is possible that food will enter the trachea, which will directly threaten the life of the human body and cause the patient's trachea to be blocked, resulting in difficulty breathing. In severe cases, it will cause suffocation. So what should we do if food is eaten into the trachea? First, what should we do if something is swallowed into the trachea? For patients who are still conscious, the rescuer can stand or sit, and the rescuer can stand behind the patient (you need to stand firmly, you can use a lunge), hug the patient from behind with both arms, make a fist with one hand, and make the protruding point of the thumb palm joint press against the patient's abdomen midline slightly above the navel, and press the palm of the other hand on the fist, and push inward and upward continuously and quickly for 6-10 times (be careful not to hurt the ribs). Second, if the patient falls unconscious, he or she should be placed in a supine position, with the rescuer straddling the patient's hips and pushing and impacting the same part using the same method. If the heart has stopped, chest compressions and artificial respiration should be performed first. If there is no one around to help you, you can do this exercise yourself. Use your own strength to quickly impact the upper abdomen multiple times. If you can't use your own strength, you can use the back of a chair to help. Third, if it is a baby, you need to first place the child face down on the adult's thigh and pat the child's back about five or six times; if the foreign body is not expelled, then turn the child over to face up, place it on the thigh, and use the index finger and middle finger to repeatedly press the child's upper abdomen or lower chest. Be careful not to use too much force, and the position should be in the middle. The above two actions can be performed alternately. If the foreign body is still not expelled after about 3 minutes, you should immediately send to the hospital for emergency treatment. You can continue tapping while riding. What should you do if food is eaten into the trachea? For extremely obese people or pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy, the impact position should be moved up to the lower end of the sternum (the junction of the hard sternum and the soft abdomen). Note that the position should also be in the middle, otherwise it is easy to cause rib fractures. |
