In people's daily lives, many people suffer from stomach pain and stomach acid. There are many reasons why people experience this condition. It may be caused by diseases such as gastroenteritis, gastric cancer, etc., it may be caused by eating some spoiled food, or it may be caused by eating allergic food. In the face of this situation, timely measures need to be taken to deal with it. Here we will introduce what to do if you have stomach pain and stomach acid.

Stomach pain and stomach acid are a clinical manifestation. Its cause may be acute or chronic gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer, etc. It can be confirmed by gastroscopy. If it is gastritis, congestion, edema, bleeding, erosion, etc. of the gastric mucosa may be seen under gastroscopy.

The histology of the lesion may be the infiltration of neutrophil inflammatory cells in the lamina propria of the gastric mucosa, which manifests as clinical symptoms such as stomach pain and acid reflux. Oral acid-suppressing drugs, such as omeprazole, can be taken. Metoclopramide can be given for nausea, retching, and vomiting. Oral prokinetic drugs, such as metoclopramide, can be taken for abdominal distension.

In terms of diet, pay attention to eating small meals frequently, do not overeat, eat three meals a day at regular times and in regular amounts, eat regularly, do not eat spicy, irritating, or raw or cold foods, pay attention to keeping warm, eat less fried foods and hard foods, eat less sweets, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, pay attention to rest, and exercise appropriately.

When you have stomach pain, you can also try massaging the two acupoints on the palm of your hand to achieve the pain-relieving effect.

The first is the gastrointestinal point. This point is located in the palm of our hand. Draw a vertical straight line from the middle finger to the wrist. This is the place where it intersects with the lifeline. When stomach problems occur due to overeating, we can tie 5 toothpicks together and then prick this point, but the force should not be too strong, and it is best to use a force that does not pierce the skin. Normally, after pressing this point about 5 to 10 times, the pain will be significantly relieved. If there is no relief, continue pressing until the stomach pain is relieved.

When nervous stomach pain occurs, stimulate the Luolingwu acupoint. Luo Lingwu is located on the back of our hand. About 2 cm downward between the index finger and the middle finger towards the wrist, there is a bone depression. This is Luo Lingwu. This point is stimulated in the same way as the gastrointestinal point.

But as the saying goes, stomach problems are "three parts treatment and seven parts care", so you should eat on time, eat properly, and avoid overeating. In addition, don't eat too cold food and pay attention to keeping your stomach warm.
