Dry, red and flaky skin

Dry, red and flaky skin

Ultraviolet rays are very strong in the summer, so many people will apply thick sunscreen when going out in the summer, which can not only prevent tanning, but also protect our skin's stratum corneum. Some people may have particularly dry skin, which is prone to redness and peeling after being exposed to the sun. This situation is very likely to cause ultraviolet allergies, and sunburn is not easy to recover. So what should we do if the skin is dry, red and peeling?

1Avoid contact with allergens

Dry, flaky and red skin may be caused by contact with allergens. Some people are allergic to some foods (such as seafood, some fruits, etc.), some smoke, ultraviolet rays, pollen, cosmetics, etc., which may cause this symptom. Therefore, you should find out these allergens, avoid contact again, and treat the affected areas in a timely manner.

2. Apply aloe vera gel

The complex polysaccharides and amino acids in aloe vera gel have a moisturizing effect, can replenish moisture, and restore collagen function. It also has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects. It also has a direct effect on dry, peeling and red skin caused by some skin inflammations.

Method: Squeeze some aloe vera gel onto your palms, spread it evenly between your hands, and apply it to dry, flaky, and red areas of the skin until the aloe vera gel is completely absorbed.

3. Apply facial mask

Dry, flaky and red skin may be caused by dehydration. Replenishing moisture to the facial skin through a facial mask can alleviate the symptoms of dry, flaky and red skin caused by dehydration.

Tips: Be sure to choose a mask with strong hydrating function.

4. Improve your lifestyle

Staying up late, lack of sleep, malnutrition caused by an unbalanced diet, excessive fatigue, or excessive cleaning may all lead to dehydrated skin, causing symptoms of dry, flaky and red skin. Therefore, the long-term solution to skin care is to change your lifestyle. Don't stay up late, get up and go to bed on time, eat healthily, and then replenish enough water every day. If you do these, your skin condition will naturally improve.

Pig's trotters are rich in collagen, which can nourish the skin. The combination of the three is only suitable for people with dry, flaky and red skin.

Tremella and Red Dates Soup

Ingredients: two pieces of Tremella, five red dates, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.

practice:

1. Put white fungus and red dates into a casserole, add water and bring to a boil. Turn them over during the cooking process to prevent them from sticking to the pot.

2. After boiling, simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, turn off the heat, add rock sugar, cover with lid, and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Efficacy: Tremella is rich in plant gum, which has a protective effect on the skin. In addition, Tremella can replenish qi and blood, benefit the stomach and intestines, and contribute to the body's (skin) metabolic function; red dates are a good blood tonic and whitening product, so this diet therapy is suitable for people with dry, flaky and red skin.
