Use a resin cleaner to clean plastic lenses. Spray the cleaner onto the lenses and wipe it off. Then spray the scratched lens with liquid petroleum jelly and wipe it off. Liquid petroleum jelly will fill in the scratch and make it less noticeable. Repeat this process until you can no longer see any scratches after wiping off the liquid petroleum jelly.

Use a brass or silver polishing cloth to clean scratched plastic lenses. Use a soft rag to rub the polish onto the lens. Repeat until the scratch is gone.

Use the CD/DVD repair tool Reed cleaning spray that comes with it. This solution is designed for CD/DVD scratch removal, but it works just as well on plastic lenses. Wipe this spray off with a soft rag.

Use a soft-tipped toothbrush to gently brush your lenses. Apply light circular motions to the scratch and rinse with cool water. If the scratch is deep, you may need to repeat this process several times.

Take a little baking soda and water. Place baking soda in a bowl and mix with water until you have a thick paste. Rub the paste on the scratch as you would with a toothbrush and rinse it off with water when you think the scratch is gone.

Wax your plastic lenses with car wax. Rub the wax onto your plastic lenses in circular motions for several minutes until you can no longer see the scratches. Rub the wax away with a soft rag or cotton ball.

Spray the scratched lenses with wiper fluid designed to remove water. This water will remove some minor scratches or stains. This will also repel water to prevent the glass from fogging up.

Try glass etching designed on art glass. Only do this if you know your lenses don't have an anti-reflective coating. You can buy abrasive sanding materials at a hobby or craft store. Wear rubber gloves when you apply the cleaner to your plastic lenses and wipe them with the rag.

If your lens is non-reflective, the frosting will ruin it. When you go through this process, your lenses will be damaged at the very least. If all else fails you may need to take your lenses to a professional to have the scratch repaired.
