Earthquake self-rescue tips

Earthquake self-rescue tips

Speaking of earthquakes, I believe everyone is very panicked, and everyone will feel worried and scared. In fact, people living in areas close to the mountains are prone to frequent earthquakes, especially in the southern region. Because of earthquakes, there are often some minor earthquakes from time to time, but there is no guarantee that every earthquake will not be dangerous. As a person, we still have to follow the common sense of earthquake self-rescue, so that we will not be so panicked when an earthquake occurs.

How to save yourself after an earthquake

Try to find some towels, clothes or other cloths, wet them, cover your mouth and nose, and wrap your head to prevent suffocation caused by inhaling dust and to prevent objects from hitting your head.

Try to keep your hands and feet moving to clear away objects and dust that are pressing on you.

Observe whether there are objects around you that you can hide behind, or move things around to support the objects above you to prevent them from collapsing. At the same time, expand the space around you to get more air.

If you are buried in a place with other people, you should encourage each other, talk to each other to attract each other's attention, and never relax.

Try to find and open the passage, and try to move towards the light and spaciousness.

If you cannot find a way to escape from the predicament for the time being, you must conserve your energy and not waste it. Try to find water and some daily necessities to prolong your survival time and wait for rescue.

Because you are buried or trapped in a closed environment, simply shouting for help may not attract the attention of people outside. Therefore, at this time you must use other methods to convey the call for help to the outside world, such as knocking on the wall with hard objects, knocking on water pipes, etc.

Precautions

During an earthquake, never climb upstairs or leave through windows.

It is important to maintain your strength.

Stay awake and don't sleep.
