Is it normal to have a headache after having chickenpox

In ancient times, chickenpox was a skin disease with a very high mortality rate, because the treatment of chickenpox was not very mature in ancient times, and chickenpox was highly contagious. However, in modern society, people's treatment mechanism for chickenpox has become more and more mature, and prevention mechanism has also been widely used among people. However, some people still get chickenpox, and some people feel headaches when they get chickenpox. Is this normal?

Chickenpox is mainly caused by viral infection, which usually causes fever. Headache is also normal. It is recommended to take acyclovir tablets, vitamin C tablets, indomethacin tablets and other drugs, and apply acyclovir ointment externally. Eat more light and easily digestible food, and avoid spicy and irritating food and greasy fried food. Pay attention to the hygiene of the affected area and do not scratch the affected area with your hands to avoid infection.

Chickenpox is a primary infection caused by the varicella-zoster virus. It is an acute infectious skin disease characterized by mild systemic symptoms and the appearance of macules, papules, blisters and scabs in batches on the skin and mucous membranes. It is more common in children, is highly contagious, and can easily cause epidemics in small areas. After recovery, the patient can obtain lifelong immunity. Adults can also get chickenpox, so don't worry. If the fever persists, please go to the hospital for treatment.

During the fever and rash period, the child should rest in bed, drink plenty of water, and be provided with nutritious and easily digestible food such as milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables, etc. Spicy fish and shrimp foods should be avoided; prevent colds, especially avoid being blown by the wind; wash hands and face frequently, change clothes frequently, and keep the skin clean; pay attention to the cleaning and disinfection of clothes and utensils, and pay attention to hygiene. If the itching is severe, you can apply oven-dried stone lotion to relieve the itching, or take drugs such as chlorpheniramine; if the herpes breaks, you can apply gentian violet, and if there is an infection, you can apply some anti-inflammatory ointment topically, and take berberine or sulfonamides if necessary; avoid using ointments such as prednisone and cortisone to avoid systemic chickenpox. If a child has persistent high fever, cough, headache, chest pain, or dense, red blisters with turbid blister fluid, or has developed diffuse abscesses, cellulitis, or lymphadenitis, he or she needs to be sent to the hospital for treatment.
