What can I use to whiten yellow teeth

People often show their yellow teeth. There are many factors that cause yellow teeth, such as frequent smoking, drinking alcohol or coffee, drinking tea, and not rinsing their mouths. These are all reasons that cause teeth to turn yellow. In addition to cleaning teeth with the correct toothbrush in time, they should also use some medical techniques for whitening. This can not only show results quickly, but also prevent patients from affecting their self-confidence because of having yellow teeth.

Medical whitening methods

There are essentially only two methods of teeth whitening: chemical bleaching and concealed whitening. Another way is to restore the original color of teeth by washing teeth, cleaning teeth and sandblasting. The main chemical component of teeth whitening drugs is carbamide peroxide, which reacts chemically with teeth through different placement methods, causing the teeth to change color. The main methods include cold light whitening, tray whitening, tooth whitening with strips, rinse whitening, internal dental sealant whitening, and ultrasonic teeth cleaning.

The following are some of the most commonly used whitening techniques for your reference.

Chief patent whitening

The patented whitening technology originated from Meiyashi in London, UK, does not need to harm the tooth tissue at all, and whitens real teeth in a healthy way. It is performed on-site by a professional whitening doctor in Lido. Under a safe configuration, the patented whitening glue is used in conjunction with the whitening instrument. The whitening instrument allows the whitening glue to take effect quickly and produce whitening factors. The whitening factors can effectively penetrate into the tooth essence layer, degrading the coloring of the essence layer, thereby restoring the teeth to a bright white color. There are no side effects, no damage to tooth tissue, and no damage to tooth nerves. Because it is deep whitening, the effect can last for about 5 years.

Cold light whitening

Cold light whitening is the latest teeth whitening technology that is popular in Europe and the United States. It can not only remove pigment deposits on the surface of teeth, but also penetrate deep into the teeth to achieve a discoloration effect. According to clinical experiments, the use of Rinover cold light teeth whitening technology can improve the effect by 5-14 vita color levels, which is not only better than similar products, but also exceeds the whitening effect of home braces by more than 30%. The operation only takes thirty minutes, has no side effects, and the whitening effect can last for more than two years.

Indications: dental fluorosis, tetracycline teeth, pigmentation, enamel hypoplasia, caries, dead pulp teeth.

Specific process:

1. Before the cold light whitening operation begins, the dentist will conduct an oral examination and communicate with the patient. People under the age of 16, pregnant women and patients with severe periodontal disease are not suitable for this type of teeth whitening.

2. Compare and record the color of teeth before whitening, and take photos for archiving.

3. Whitening patients and operators should wear goggles.

4. Mix the polishing sand with a small amount of water and perform simple treatment on the tooth surface. After the treatment, let the patient rinse his mouth and blow dry the tooth surface.

5. Place a moisture-proof cotton strip inside the lips, apply lip oil, and put on a covering tissue.

6. Place the mouth opener into the patient's mouth and make sure the patient feels no discomfort.

7. Apply the light-curing resin on the gums, covering 0.5 mm below the gums, and irradiate with a light-curing lamp for about 3 seconds.

8. Adjust the cold light instrument lamp head. The lamp head should be 90 degrees perpendicular to the tooth surface and just touch the mouth opener.

9. Mix hydrogen peroxide and whitening powder into a paste (note: the consistency should be such that the whitening agent does not drip when picked up with a brush, and it should not be too thick). Apply the prepared whitening agent on the surface of 16 or more dried upper and lower teeth, with a thickness of about 2-3mm.

10. Press the start button to start the first 8-minute treatment. The machine will stop automatically after the treatment. Then use a strong straw to suck out the whitening agent on the tooth surface. If necessary, wipe the remaining whitening agent on the teeth with a dry cotton ball. Do not rinse with water at this time.
