How to remove blood stains on the quilt

In daily life, it is quite common to see blood stains on the quilt, especially on special days for girls. If you are not careful, the mattress will be easily stained with blood. When you wake up and find that the quilt is stained with blood, it is very embarrassing and headache. You don’t know how to remove the blood stains. There are many ways to remove blood stains. First of all, you must distinguish whether the blood stains on the bedding are old blood stains or newly stained blood stains. If they are old blood stains that are too old, it will be more troublesome to deal with.

Method 1

1. Fresh blood stains. Because fresh blood stains on any fabric can be removed by washing with water. When washing, use clean cold water, then add a few drops of Good Daddy laundry detergent, and then wash it by hand.

2. The blood stain area is small. You can scrub it with ginger first, then rub it with cold water to leave no traces. Or you can drop a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on the blood stain (you can also use white radish juice to wash it), which can quickly remove the blood stain.

3. For older blood stains, you can use lemon juice and salt water to wash them. After the blood stains are removed, rinse them with clean water.

4. Whether it is old blood stains or old blood stains, you can rub and clean them with sulfur soap to achieve the same stain removal effect.

(1) Grind carrots or white radishes and mix with salt. Apply the mixture to the stain and rub it repeatedly with your hands. Then rinse with water. Because the protein in the blood and milk will break down when it encounters the amylase in the radish, thus removing the stains.

Removing Blood Stains

For fresh blood stains, rinse with tap water and rub repeatedly with soap. For old blood stains, first rub off as much as possible, then soak in warm water and wash with an enzyme detergent. For blood stains that cannot be removed by the above methods, using a rust remover may be effective.

(2) Using ginger to scrub blood or milk stains is also very effective.

(3) Wash with detergent first, then clean with a dilute ammonia solution, and finally rinse with clean water.

(4) Old urine stains can be scrubbed with warm detergent (soap) solution or dilute ammonia or borax solution, and then rinsed with saturated soap.

Do not use hot water to wash blood stains and milk stains. When exposed to high temperatures, the protein in these stains will firmly combine with the fibers, making it more difficult to remove the blood stains. Soak the bloodstained clothes in cold salt water, then rinse with warm water, and then soak them in soapy water and heat them to boil to completely remove the blood stains.
