Chin augmentation surgery

Chin augmentation surgery

Chin plastic surgery has become a trend because an ugly chin affects people's mood and image. So for an ugly chin, plastic surgery techniques can be used. Chin augmentation can make the whole person look more energetic, especially for those with big chins, which must be improved through plastic surgery to become more beautiful. However, there are some issues that need to be paid attention to during plastic surgery, such as the coordination of the person being operated on, and how long does it take to recover from chin augmentation surgery?

1. How long does it take to fully recover after chin augmentation?

Chin augmentation with implants: Generally, recovery will take about a week, after which the stitches can be removed. However, if you want to see good results, you will have to wait for about 3 months. However, the effects of a chin augmentation surgery with implants can last for 10 years or even longer.

Chin pad injection: The recovery period only takes a few dozen minutes. After the chin augmentation is completed by a doctor with extensive experience in plastic surgery, you can immediately see the effect of the chin augmentation through the mirror. If you are not satisfied with the results of your chin augmentation, you can have additional injections to create a more suitable chin. Then the recovery period is very long, just one or two days will be enough.

2. How many days after chin augmentation can you eat normally?

You cannot eat for 7 days after chin augmentation because the wound caused by the prosthetic chin augmentation is inside the mouth. Eating before the wound has healed well will cause bacterial infection. Another thing is that you need to wrap your chin with shaping gauze for one week after the chin augmentation surgery, which makes it inconvenient to open your mouth and chew. In order to shape the chin as soon as possible, it is better to reduce chewing activities as much as possible after chin augmentation, and it is better not to chew rice.

Generally, you can eat 7 days after chin augmentation. It is best to gradually transition from liquid food to semi-liquid food. This is because liquid food and semi-liquid food help the jaw and teeth reduce chewing, which can alleviate the discomfort of being restrained by the fixation belt. After the chin augmentation, you may try some thick rice soup, brown rice tea, steamed egg custard, egg drop soup and other liquid foods. After 3-7 days, you can eat some semi-liquid foods, such as lotus seed porridge, white rice porridge, etc.

3. Risks of chin augmentation

The sequelae of chin augmentation is the more common microchin deformity, which means that the position of the chin is located behind the second vertical line, but the occlusion of the teeth is normal. Therefore, this defect can be corrected by simply padding the chin to match the face shape. You don’t need to worry about the side effects of chin augmentation. If you want to better shape your chin, you can use chin augmentation surgery.
