When we use the advanced technology brought by these electronic products, we will also be threatened by radiation. No one wants to be exposed to radiation. After all, radiation will cause certain harm to our health. Therefore, when choosing a computer or a mobile phone, you must consider the protection of the screen or monitor for the eyes.

What screen is good for the eyes?

NTSC color gamut

The NTSC color gamut value represents the vividness of the colors displayed on the screen. The higher the NTSC color gamut value, the vivider the screen colors.

brightness

Generally speaking, the higher the screen brightness, the more vivid the picture and the better the details. Especially in strong light, the maximum brightness of the screen must exceed 500 nits to ensure good readability.

Color Temperature

Color temperature refers to whether the color of the screen is cooler (bluish) or warmer (yellowish). Some manufacturers increase the color temperature to compensate for the disadvantage of low color gamut value, making the colors appear brighter, but in fact the colors are distorted.

BUT

As screens become clearer and brighter, the challenge to the eyes becomes greater. Even if the screen is good, it will be uncomfortable if you look at it for too long.

What monitor is good for the eyes?

First of all, to reduce the radiation from the computer monitor, we can buy a computer radiation film at a computer store. The use of the radiation film is also very simple. We can directly apply the radiation film on the computer. Generally speaking, the radiation film uses physical methods to reduce computer radiation.

Second, lower the brightness of the computer monitor. Science shows that the radiation of the computer monitor is proportional to the brightness of the computer. If we want to reduce the radiation of the computer, then lowering the brightness of the computer is also a good way.

Third, set up vision protection on the computer. If our computer system is XP system, we can directly right-click on the desktop and enter the brightness to set it. If we are using Win7 system, the method is the same as XP.

Fourth, change the desktop background to green. Science shows that the arc length of green presented on our retina can help us see better to a certain extent and also play a role in protecting the eyes.

Fifth, keep a certain distance from the computer monitor. When we are playing games or working, we must not be too close to the monitor. Although we can see things on the computer screen more clearly if we are too close to the monitor, it is not good for our eyes.

Sixth, control the time. Generally speaking, when we look at the computer monitor for an hour, we can stop and look into the distance for about 5-10 minutes. This can soothe our retina and protect our eyesight.
