What should I do if I have recurrent eczema?

Eczema is a common skin disease. If red spots, papules and exudate appear, you need to pay attention and see if you have eczema. The symptoms of eczema and other diseases are quite similar, so more differentiation is needed clinically. For example, infectious eczematous dermatitis is very similar to atopic dermatitis. Eczema is prone to recurring, so what should we do if we have recurring eczema?

The cause of eczema is more complicated, mostly due to the interaction of certain external or internal factors, and many other response factors. Therefore, unlike contact eczema, the cause is not easy to eliminate and it is prone to recurrence and chronicity.

Viral infection: One of the causes of eczema is viral infection. After a viral infection occurs, the serum contains neutralizing antibodies and complement-binding antibodies, which have a certain limiting effect on the removal of the virus, the control of the spread of the virus throughout the body and the course of the disease, but they cannot remove long-latent viruses or prevent recurrence. Therefore, there is still no effective antiviral drug that can control the recurrence of eczema.

Because the causes of eczema are very complicated, even if the cause of eczema is found, it is still difficult to treat. For example, allergies to mites, pollen, or fungal spores. Since these substances often float in the air, these allergens are almost impossible to remove, so the disease often recurs clinically.

At present, Western medicine has no specific treatment for eczema. It mostly uses oral antihistamines and hormone drugs for temporary suppression, such as oral Western medicine, oral hormones, topical ointments, emulsions, film-coatings, tinctures and plasters. But it can only relieve symptoms and not cure it. I suggest you use traditional Chinese medicine such as ephedra, siler, halberd, schizonepeta, black-necked snake, whole insect, centipede, angelica dahurica, mint, asarum, cnidium monnieri, Korean ginseng, agarwood, and golden jingcao. These traditional Chinese medicines have the effects of clearing blood heat, removing blood dryness, attacking blood toxins, replenishing internal deficiency, nourishing the stomach and spleen, soothing the liver and regulating qi. After years of clinical differentiation, they have unique effects in treating eczema. The combined use of these traditional Chinese medicines can promote skin cell metabolism, repair damaged skin cells, slow down the aging of skin cells, and restore skin vitality and elasticity.

When using this prescription, there is no need to avoid any irritating foods. During the medication period and after recovery, you can eat chili peppers, wine, chicken, and fish. There is no need to avoid these foods. In addition, patients with eczema should never use hormone treatment. If hormone treatment is used, it will temporarily relieve symptoms, but the condition will eventually become more and more serious and cannot be cured.

The most important thing to pay attention to for this disease is the environment. Do not stay in a dry environment for a long time. In winter, patients should pay attention to installing a humidifier if there is heating and air conditioning indoors. Do not use hot water to scald the affected area. Use warm water when washing, not hot water. This disease needs everyone's attention and should not be ignored.
