I get up in the morning with pain in the right side of my waist

If you feel pain on the right side of your waist when you wake up in the morning, it may be because your waist has been injured. In this case, you need to receive treatment based on the specific disease of your waist. In fact, the most important thing is to do targeted treatment, so that you can effectively avoid more serious symptoms when the disease occurs.

The causes of low back pain are complex and varied. According to the cause, it can be divided into 5 categories. According to anatomical location, they can be divided into four categories.

1. Traumatic

(1) Acute injury: lumbar fracture, dislocation or lumbar muscle soft tissue injury caused by various direct or indirect violence and muscle tension.

(2) Chronic injuries: chronic cumulative injuries caused by improper body position at work, working posture, carrying heavy objects, etc. Low back pain is very likely to occur after encountering physical stimulation such as dampness and coldness.

2. Inflammatory lesions that cause lumbosacral pain include: [1]

(1) Infectious: It can be seen when tuberculosis bacteria, pyogenic bacteria or typhoid bacteria invade the waist and soft tissues to form infectious inflammation.

(2) Aseptic inflammation: Cold, dampness, allergic reactions and heavy massage can cause inflammation of bones and soft tissues. It causes exudation, swelling and degeneration of periosteum, ligaments, fascia and muscle fibers.

3. Degenerative changes In recent years, low back pain caused by degenerative changes in the thoracic and lumbar spine has been on the rise. Once the human body stops developing, degenerative changes will follow. It is generally believed that people begin to degenerate between the ages of 20 and 25. Including degeneration of the annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus tissue. If there is excessive activity and the patient is often in a weight-bearing state, the nucleus pulposus may easily prolapse, and the anterior and posterior longitudinal ligaments and small joints may loosen and shift along with the vertebral body, causing subligamentous periosteal bleeding, microhematoma organization, and ossification to form bone spurs. Nucleus pulposus herniation and bone spurs can compress or irritate nerves and cause pain.

4. Congenital diseases are most common in the lumbosacral region and are a common cause of lower back pain. Common ones include occult spina bifida, lumbar sacralization or sacral lumbarization, floating spinous processes, developmental spinal stenosis and vertebral deformity. These disorders are often asymptomatic in young people. However, the weak links formed by the above bone structures provide the basis for low back pain when cumulative injuries occur.

5. Neoplastic diseases: invasion of the thoracic and lumbar spine and soft tissues by primary or metastatic tumors.

In general, the tissues of the lower back, from the outside to the inside, include skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, ligaments, spine, ribs and spinal cord. Pathologies in any of the above tissues can cause low back pain. In addition, lesions in the adjacent organs of the lower back can also cause low back pain. According to the primary site of the disease causing low back pain, it can be divided into:

(1) Spinal diseases: such as spinal fractures, intervertebral disc herniation, hypertrophic spondylitis, infectious spondylitis, spinal tumors, congenital malformations, etc.

(2) Paraspinal soft tissue diseases: such as lumbar muscle strain, lumbar myofibrosarcoma, and polymyositis rheumatica.
