Now, the country is constantly encouraging people to donate blood free of charge, and people's ideological awareness is becoming higher and higher, and the number of people participating in blood donation is increasing. Donating blood can not only contribute to society, but regular blood donation can also keep everyone healthy. But not everyone is suitable for donating blood. Before donating blood, the hospital will conduct a physical examination on the blood donor. So, what will be checked when donating blood? 1. What diseases will be checked when donating blood? Blood donation can detect blood-borne infectious diseases. According to regulations in our country, blood donations must undergo four tests: hepatitis B virus surface antigen, hepatitis C virus antibody, HIV antibody, and syphilis serology. If all the results are negative, the project can be passed. If the test result is positive, you are not allowed to donate blood. Therefore, voluntary blood donation can only be confirmed through examination whether there are blood-borne infectious diseases, such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, AIDS, etc., and other diseases cannot be checked. 2. What are the blood tests for blood donors? Blood specific gravity screening, copper sulfate method: greater than 1.052 for men and greater than 1.050 for women. Blood typing: ABO blood type must match positive and negative typing. Rh(D) typing should be performed in areas where conditions permit or in areas with a high Rh negative rate. Liver function test: Taking alanine aminotransferase activity as an indicator, the level measured by the Reitman method should be less than 25 units. If this indicator is unqualified, you should not donate blood, but it does not mean that there must be problems with liver function. Blood infectious disease examination: Check four items including hepatitis B virus surface antigen, hepatitis C virus antibody, HIV antibody, and syphilis serology test. Anyone who tests positive is not allowed to donate blood. 3. What are the requirements for blood donation? Age: 18 to 55 years old. Weight: Male>=50 kg, Female>=45 kg. Blood pressure 12-20/8-12 kPa (90-140/60-90 mmHg), pulse pressure difference >>=4 kPa (>=30 mmHg). Pulse: 60-100 beats/min, high endurance athletes >=50 beats/min. The body temperature is normal. There was no jaundice of the skin, no wound infection, no large-area skin disease, and no obvious enlargement of the superficial lymph nodes. There are no serious diseases in the facial features, the sclera is not yellow, and the thyroid gland is not enlarged. There is no serious disability in the limbs, no serious functional disorder, and no redness and swelling in the joints. Chest: Heart and lungs are normal (physiological heart murmurs are considered normal). Abdomen: The abdomen is flat and soft, without lumps or tenderness, and the liver and spleen are not enlarged. |
