What are the prognostic factors affecting lymphoma

In recent years, lymphoma has become one of the major diseases that endanger our female friends, and it has brought great trouble and pain to us humans. In order to prevent the deterioration of this disease, our friends should understand the prognostic factors that affect lymphoma and achieve early detection and early treatment.

1. Age: The survival rate of Hodgkin's disease patients under 50 years old is higher than that of patients over 50 years old. The prognosis of children and elderly patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is generally worse than that of those aged 20 to 50 years old.

2. Gender: Among patients with Hodgkin's disease, females have a higher survival rate after treatment, while in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, there is not much difference in the prognosis between men and women.

3. Pathology: Among patients with Hodgkin's disease, lymphocyte-dominant type has the best prognosis, with a 5-year survival rate of 94.3%, followed by nodular sclerosis type and mixed cell type, while lymphocyte-reduced type has the worst prognosis, with a 5-year survival rate of only 27.4%. Among non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, follicular lymphocytes are well differentiated, with a 6-year survival rate of 61%; diffuse lymphocytes are poorly differentiated, with a 6-year survival rate of 42%; lymphoblastic lymphoma has a 4-year survival rate of 30%.

4. Stage: For patients with Hodgkin's disease, the 5-year survival rate is 92.5% in stage I, 86.3% in stage II, 69.5% in stage III, and 31.9% in stage EF.

5. Systemic symptoms: The prognosis of Hodgkin's disease patients with systemic symptoms is worse than that of patients without systemic symptoms. However, for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, systemic symptoms have little impact on prognosis.

The above are the factors that affect the prognosis of lymphoma. I hope that everyone will pay more attention to them. Expert Tips: If you have symptoms of illness, do not delay diagnosis and go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease and causing serious consequences.
