Four major symptoms of mid-stage colon cancer

Four major symptoms of mid-stage colon cancer

I am a 26-year-old male colon cancer patient. Colon cancer has been diagnosed as mid-stage. Now I can feel a large mass on the right side of my belly button. I have undergone the first chemotherapy after surgery and feel OK. It has not spread to the liver or pancreas. I can feel a mass on the right side of my abdomen. It has a nodular feel and is not easy to move. When the mass is infected, it is tender.

The recurrence rate of colon cancer is high if it is treated alone. Therefore, after surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are needed, combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment can achieve the goal of long-term survival with tumors, inhibit and eliminate tumors, and control lesions. At this time, patients will experience symptoms such as progressive anemia, low fever, progressive weight loss, vomiting, liver enlargement, jaundice and ascites.

The main symptoms of mid-stage colon cancer are:

1. Symptoms of mid-stage colon cancer

In the early stages of colon cancer, there may be abdominal distension, discomfort, and indigestion-like symptoms, followed by changes in bowel habits, such as increased bowel movements, diarrhea or constipation, and abdominal pain before defecation. As the tumor grows, mucus or bloody stools may appear.

2. Symptoms of poisoning

Due to blood loss and toxin absorption caused by tumor ulceration, patients often experience anemia, weight loss, fatigue, edema and low fever, especially anemia and weight loss.

3. Symptoms of intestinal obstruction

Symptoms of incomplete or complete low intestinal obstruction include abdominal distension, abdominal pain (swelling pain or colic), constipation or constipation. Physical examination shows abdominal distension, intestinal type, local tenderness, and strong bowel sounds.

4. Abdominal mass

It is a tumor or a mass that has infiltrated and adhered to the omentum and surrounding tissues. It is hard and irregular in shape. Some of them can have a certain degree of mobility along the intestinal tract. In the late stage, the tumor infiltration is more severe and the mass may be fixed.
