Traditional Chinese medicine prescription for colon cancer

In the treatment of colon cancer, TCM mainly adopts the method of combining syndrome differentiation with disease differentiation, and combining strengthening the body and eliminating evil. One of the keys to the success of colon cancer recovery is to correctly handle the relationship between the whole body and the local part, and the relationship between strengthening the body and eliminating evil. Therefore, in the process of TCM treatment of colon cancer, it is necessary to combine TCM treatment with diet conditioning for colon cancer, adopt the method of combining syndrome differentiation with disease differentiation, combining strengthening the body and eliminating evil, master the correct prescription, and treat the symptoms.

Through a large number of clinical trials, we recommend the following two prescriptions:

Prescription 1:

Prescription: 3g of Jiangxiang, 6g each of dried tangerine peel, roasted licorice, and costus root, 9g each of Toosendan fruit and Pinellia, 12g each of Angelica and Corydalis, 15g each of raw white peony root, Codonopsis, and roasted Astragalus.

Indications: Colon cancer. Abdominal pain, constipation, loose stools, thin and unformed stools, thin and withered complexion; thin and shrunken tongue, stringy and slippery pulse. Symptoms: Qi stagnation and blood stasis, stasis and toxic accumulation, pathogenic heat, and exhaustion of vital energy.

Usage: decoct the medicine for internal use, 1 dose per day. For external application, mix the powder with honey to make a paste and apply it to the painful area, fix it with gauze, and change the dressing every 24 hours.

Prescription 2:

Prescription: 9g each of Poria, Rubus idaeus, Dendrobium, Codonopsis pilosula, Ophiopogon japonicus, Platycladus orientalis, Cuscuta australis, Silkworm cocoon, Psoralea corylifolia, 15g each of Astragalus and Polygonum multiflorum, 6g each of Citrus reticulata, Pinellia ternata, and 1.5g of Amomum villosum.

Indications: Postoperative lymph node metastasis of colon cancer with blood in stool, chest tightness and nausea, abdominal distension and loss of appetite, loose stools, night sweats, thirst and frequent drinking, sticky phlegm in the throat, weight loss and fatigue, low fever

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.
