Is rectal cancer blood contagious?

Most early stage rectal cancers are asymptomatic. When the disease develops to a certain extent, there will be changes in bowel habits, bloody stools, bloody and purulent stools, tenesmus, constipation, diarrhea, etc. The stools gradually become thinner. In the late stage, there will be defecation obstruction, weight loss, and even cachexia. When the surrounding tissues such as the bladder, urethra, and vagina are invaded, there will be symptoms of urinary tract irritation, fecal discharge from the vagina, pain in the sacrum and perineum, and lower limb edema.

Is rectal cancer blood contagious? Rectal cancer is not contagious. Clinically, cancer patients themselves are not the source of infection, so it is not contagious and there is no need to worry too much. Having good living habits, eating more fruits and vegetables, and keeping yourself clean can effectively prevent the occurrence of rectal cancer.

Rectal cancer is not contagious. For it to be contagious, three conditions must be met: a source of infection, a route of transmission, and a susceptible population. Clinical data have proven that cancer patients themselves are not a source of infection.

In the early stage of rectal cancer, there are no symptoms or the symptoms are not obvious, only discomfort, indigestion, occult blood in stool, etc. As the cancer develops, symptoms gradually appear, manifested as changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, blood in stool, abdominal mass, intestinal obstruction, etc., with or without systemic symptoms such as anemia, fever and weight loss. Tumor metastasis and infiltration can cause changes in the affected organs. Rectal cancer shows different clinical symptoms and signs due to its different locations.

Maintain an optimistic attitude, do not be discouraged, do not give up on yourself, believe that hard work may bring about miracles, family members should give patients greater support, try to prevent patients from having too much emotional pressure, and be sure to pay attention to the way family members communicate, because at this time the patient's heart is particularly fragile and sensitive, much more fragile than we think.
