Which type of lung cancer is more harmful

Which type of lung cancer is more harmful? Small cell undifferentiated carcinoma (abbreviated as small cell carcinoma) is the most malignant type of lung cancer, accounting for about one-fifth of primary lung cancer. Patients are relatively young, mostly around 40-50 years old, and most have a history of smoking. It often invades the extrapulmonary parenchyma and easily merges with the hilar and mediastinal lymph nodes to form a mass. Cancer cells grow fast, have strong invasiveness, and metastasize early to distant organs, often metastasizing to the brain, liver, bones, adrenal glands and other organs. This type is more sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

What are the six major health hazards of lung cancer?

1. The growing cancerous mass stimulates the endobronchial nerves, causing severe dry coughs and sometimes coughing up blood.

2. The bronchi are blocked by tumors and the original normal alveolar cysts no longer exist.

3. If lung cancer extends to the pleura, it can cause chest pain and pleural effusion, which can compress the lungs and aggravate breathing difficulties.

4. If lung cancer develops and occupies most of the lungs, it will seriously affect the respiratory function of the lungs.

5. The metabolites of cancer are different from those of normal tissues and have certain toxicity. Therefore, if the cancer is too large, it can still endanger life even if it has not invaded other organs of the human body.

6. If lung cancer spreads throughout the body and spreads to important organs such as the brain or liver, it can cause brain and liver dysfunction. If important organs are damaged too much, it will be difficult to maintain a normal life and even endanger life. If it spreads to bones, it can cause severe bone pain and pathological fractures.
