Treatment of precancerous skin diseases

Treatment of precancerous skin diseases

Skin cancer is a very common malignant tumor of the skin. It tends to occur in exposed parts of the body, such as the face and limbs. The highest incidence rate is seen in the middle-aged and elderly, but it can also be seen in young people. The lesions can be primary or malignant from benign lesions such as moles. Primary lesions can appear as fast-growing dark brown or black skin patches or nodules, chronic skin ulcers, etc.

Surgery

It is suitable for all stages of skin cancer and can be used to completely remove the tumor surgically.

Lymph node dissection

Selective regional lymph node dissection after surgical resection of squamous cell carcinoma is difficult to decide. Preventive dissection is not the most necessary option, but the best decision should be made based on the patient's age, cancer site, degree of invasion, and degree of differentiation of cancer cells.

Radiation therapy

Skin cancer, especially basal cell carcinoma, is very sensitive to radiation and moderately sensitive to squamous cell carcinoma. This method is also suitable for areas where there is or may be lymph node metastasis as an adjuvant treatment before and after surgery.

Chemotherapy

It is used as a systemic adjuvant therapy for the treatment of skin cancer.

Physical therapy

This is the use of electrocoagulation, electrocautery, freezing or laser to burn the cancer, causing it to necrotize, fall off or vaporize.

Corrosion therapy

Use effective concentrated corrosive chemicals as local burns or smears.

Dietary care for skin cancer

Don't drink alcohol

High concentration of alcohol can also cause chronic damage to the mouth, skin, and stomach. Any concentration of alcohol can cause blood heat. Drinking medicinal wine in particular is more likely to cause blood heat. Western medicine also believes that alcohol can promote the absorption of toxic substances and is a cancer promoter.
