How long is the period of lung cancer attack?

We are not unfamiliar with lung cancer. We can hear news about lung cancer on TV, in newspapers, or from people around us. So, how long is the incidence of lung cancer? What is the reason for the high incidence of lung cancer? Let me introduce it to you right away.

Lung cancer occurs in the bronchial mucosal epithelium, also known as bronchial cancer. In the past 50 years, many countries have reported that the incidence of lung cancer has increased significantly. Among male cancer patients, lung cancer has ranked first, and the incidence in women has also increased rapidly, ranking second or third among common malignant tumors in women. The cause of lung cancer is still not completely clear. A large amount of data shows that long-term and large-scale smoking is an important pathogenic factor of lung cancer. For those who smoke more than 40 cigarettes a day for many years, the incidence of squamous cell carcinoma and undifferentiated lung cancer is 4 to 10 times higher than that of non-smokers. The incidence of lung cancer in urban residents is higher than that in rural areas, which may be related to air pollution and carcinogens contained in smoke. Therefore, we should advocate not smoking and strengthen urban environmental sanitation.

The cycle of lung cancer is relatively long, but the incidence rate continues to grow. The primary cause of the high incidence of lung cancer is smoking. The second is environmental pollution. Epidemiological surveys show that the incidence of lung cancer is higher in industrially developed and heavily polluted areas than in industrially underdeveloped areas, and higher in cities than in rural areas. This is closely related to exhaust gas emitted by cars and other vehicles. Finally, it is the lifestyle. For example, in Xuanwei, Yunnan, a high-incidence area of lung cancer in my country, because it is a high-altitude and cold area, people have been using "fire pits" containing smoke coal for heating indoors all year round, resulting in serious indoor air pollution. The incidence of lung cancer in local rural areas, especially women who stay indoors for a long time, is alarmingly high.

In addition, epidemiological surveys have shown that the large amount of oil smoke produced by rapeseed oil used in cooking may also be one of the main factors leading to an increased incidence of lung cancer. Lung diseases, as well as immunity and genetics, are also direct causes of lung cancer.
