Viral hepatitis can be divided into five types based on genetic material: hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. The most serious is hepatitis B. In the past decade, the diagnosis and incidence of hepatitis C have shown an upward trend, and it can be divided into six types based on genes, which can be further divided into different subtypes. There are subtle differences in their pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, accompanying symptoms and treatment options, and different methods can be chosen to achieve better cure. The classification is: HCV can be divided into 6 (1~6) main genotypes, each type is composed of several subtypes (a, b, c), such as 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, etc. The distribution of genotypes has obvious regional characteristics. In the north of China, 2a (3) type is the main type, and in the south, 1b (2) type is the main type. The overall distribution of different HCV genotypes in different clinical types of hepatitis C is inconsistent. In acute hepatitis, moderate and severe chronic hepatitis, post-hepatitis cirrhosis and primary liver cancer, HCV infection is mainly type II, showing liver cancer> cirrhosis> severe chronic hepatitis> moderate chronic hepatitis> acute hepatitis. In chronic hepatitis with mildly elevated or normal alanine aminotransferase, HCV infection is mainly type III, indicating that HCV genotype is closely related to the clinical condition and severity of hepatitis C patients. All 6 cases of primary liver cancer were HCV-II type, indicating that HCV-II infection may be related to liver cancer. Hepatitis is a general term for inflammation of the liver. It usually refers to the damage to liver cells and liver function caused by a variety of pathogenic factors such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, chemical poisons, drugs, alcohol, autoimmune factors, etc., which causes a series of physical discomfort symptoms and abnormal liver function indicators. Due to the different causes of hepatitis, although there are similar clinical manifestations, there are often obvious differences in etiology, serology, injury mechanism, clinical course and prognosis, extrahepatic damage, diagnosis and treatment. It should be noted that what we usually call hepatitis in our daily lives mostly refers to viral hepatitis caused by hepatitis viruses such as hepatitis A, B, and C. |
