Is it okay to get the vaccine against uterine cancer?

Gynecological examinations may show no abnormalities in early-stage endometrial cancer. In late-stage cases, the uterus may be significantly enlarged, and there may be obvious tenderness when combined with intrauterine pyometra. Occasionally, cancerous tissue may prolapse from the cervical canal, which may bleed easily when touched. When the cancer infiltrates the surrounding tissues, the uterus may be fixed or irregular nodules may be felt near the uterus. So can vaccination prevent uterine cancer?

Since the uterine cancer vaccine can provide 70% protection, and with public funding, parents can still seize the opportunity to vaccinate their children. The vaccine's effectiveness lasts for 5 to 7 years.
Uterine cancer is related to infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), and the vaccine needs to be administered before sexual intercourse. If there is no sexual intercourse during this period, there is of course no risk of infection and cancer, so the vaccine is not necessary, but if the child is outside, it is better to take precautions first. The appropriate age for vaccination is 9 to 26 years old. Currently, there are two pharmaceutical companies that provide cervical cancer vaccines. The vaccines are slightly different, but both can provide protection against the main HPV types 16 and 18, which can reduce the cancer rate by 70%. The appropriate age for vaccination is 9 to 26 years old, mainly because the current research on cervical cancer vaccines has only been done in this age range, and there may be more mature reports in the future.
