How to determine recurrence of kidney cancer

How to determine recurrence of kidney cancer

In recent years, the incidence and mortality of kidney cancer have been on the rise. However, the cause of kidney cancer is still unclear. It is generally believed that its onset is related to smoking, obesity, long-term use of antipyretic and analgesic drugs, etc. The incidence rate is high in workers in certain occupations such as petroleum and leather industries, and some patients are related to genetic factors. So, how to judge the recurrence of kidney cancer?

1. Painless hematuria. An important symptom of kidney cancer patients is hematuria, and it is painless. Hematuria will show regularity, and generally disappear automatically after a few days, and then recur. If such painless hematuria occurs, you should go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination as soon as possible. If hematuria is accompanied by pyuria, it is usually renal tuberculosis. Painless hematuria without pyuria should first consider kidney cancer and do a good job of examination.
2. Anemia and low fever Anemia and low fever are common symptoms of kidney cancer. If similar symptoms occur, first do a kidney B-ultrasound examination. If space-occupying lesions are found, further examinations should be performed as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis and treat as soon as possible.
3. Regular physical examinations. Abdominal B-ultrasound is a must-do examination during physical examinations. B-ultrasound can clearly detect space-occupying lesions in the kidney. Doing abdominal B-ultrasound examinations 1 to 2 times a year can detect tumors in the kidney earlier. Benign tumors can also be well identified on B-ultrasound.
Through the above diagnosis, we can clarify the nature and scope of the lesion, the relationship between the lesion and the kidney and surrounding tissues, whether the retroperitoneal lymph nodes have been invaded, whether the lungs, bones, liver and other organs have metastasized, etc., so as to prepare for the later treatment.
