What are the nursing methods for chemotherapy of lung cancer

How to care for patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy? Care for patients with advanced lung cancer is very important. The most important thing is to relieve the patient's pain. The diet should be nutritious, high in protein, high in vitamins, low in fat and salt, and less or no spicy, greasy, barbecued, pickled and other foods. Eat at regular times and quantitatively, and follow the principle of reasonable nutrition. Eat more fish, lean meat, eggs, soy products, mushrooms, jujubes, etc. At the same time, pay attention to psychological adjustment and proper exercise.

1. Provide good psychological care, such as caring, being considerate, and sympathetic to patients, and encouraging them to communicate more with their families. At the same time, introduce chemotherapy knowledge (such as chemotherapy regimens, precautions before and after chemotherapy, and methods of using chemotherapy drugs) and prevention and care of toxic reactions to patients and their families to eliminate patients' fears.
2. Measure body temperature, pulse, and respiration every day. If the body temperature exceeds 37.5℃, measure the body temperature according to the routine care for fever patients.
3. Weigh the patient once a week to understand the patient's overall condition and calculate the dosage of chemotherapy drugs.
4. Pay attention to oral hygiene before, during and after chemotherapy, brush your teeth with a soft-bristled toothbrush every day, and rinse your mouth after meals to prevent oral complications.
5. Pay attention to changes in the patient's condition and possible toxic reactions to chemotherapy, such as allergies, bleeding, fever, rash, etc., and report to the doctor in a timely manner and take appropriate measures.
6. During the treatment, patients should undergo regular physical examinations, such as routine blood tests, routine biochemical tests, electrocardiograms, X-rays, B-ultrasound, CT scans, MRI scans, etc., to understand the effects of chemotherapy. Nurses should explain the purpose of the examinations to patients and guide them on how to cooperate.
7. For chemotherapy of lung cancer, a certain degree of digestive tract reaction and bone marrow suppression is unavoidable. The number of courses of treatment should be appropriately increased according to the patient's response and efficacy, and complete remission should be achieved as much as possible. Ginsenoside Rh2 can resist various side effects during chemotherapy, enhance the sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs to resist bone marrow suppression, and can also reduce the number of chemotherapy times.
