How to determine sensitive skin?

In life, most people's skin is different. Some people have sensitive skin, while others have aging skin. However, sensitive skin type is the most common. People with sensitive skin usually develop erythema papules when exposed to excessive cold or heat, and may also have symptoms of itching and pain. The impact on the human body is very large. The following introduces how to judge sensitive skin.

Symptoms of sensitive skin

Patients with sensitive skin often experience itching, tingling, prickling, burning, and tightness. The severity varies from person to person. After using cosmetics, the discomfort becomes more severe, and some people cannot even tolerate any skin care products. It can appear minutes after use, hours, or even days later. Sometimes dry skin, facial erythema, fine scales, and easy facial flushing can be seen. Clinically it can be divided into:

1. Environmental type: common in people with fair, dry, and thin skin, and mainly reacts to environmental factors, such as sensitivity to cold, heat, and rapid temperature changes. Facial flushing may occur frequently.

2. Cosmetic type: mainly reacts to cosmetics.

3: Very sensitive type: Severe reactions may occur to exogenous factors such as cosmetics, environmental factors and endogenous factors.

Precautions

1. Use cosmetics with caution. For people with sensitive skin, it is best not to change the cosmetics you are used to. If you want to use new cosmetics, you should do a skin test first. The method is to apply the cosmetics to the delicate skin on the inside of the wrist, leave it on for one night or 2-3 days to observe its reaction. If an abnormal reaction occurs, such as inflammation, redness, rash, etc., you must avoid using the cosmetics.

2. You should wash your skin with warm water more often. In areas where pollen is flying in the spring, you should try to reduce going out to avoid pollen allergies.

3. In terms of diet, you should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and have a balanced diet. It is best to include a large number of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, and any food containing vitamin B. Drinking plenty of water, in addition to various benefits, it can also moisturize the skin and speed up the body's metabolism.

4. Try to use mild, non-irritating, and additive-free cosmeceuticals and skin care products.
