How to do mid-term care for skin cancer

Skin cancers such as squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma generally do not require a large surgical range and do not require special care. Patients should be exposed to sunlight as little as possible. In terms of observing tumor recurrence, recurrence at the original site is more common than distant metastasis or regional lymph node metastasis. After discovering a suspicious recurrence lesion, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and surgery in time. So how should you care for skin cancer in the middle stage?

1. Avoid exposure to the sun: Skin cancer patients should avoid excessive direct sunlight and exposure, use sunshade tools, and avoid excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, x-rays and other rays.

2. Popularize the knowledge of skin cancer: Strengthen cancer prevention education and regular surveys for high-risk groups of occupational poisoning, avoid long-term contact with coal tar substances, arsenic agents and chemical carcinogens, and those who are exposed to them should pay attention to strengthening protection at work to prevent the occurrence of skin cancer.

3. Conduct regular check-ups: Actively treat and regularly check up chronic ulcers, chronic inflammation and mucosal leukoplakia that cannot be cured for a long time, which will help prevent the occurrence of skin cancer.

4. Patients should maintain a good attitude: encourage patients to build confidence in overcoming the disease, mobilize the patient's subjective enthusiasm, maintain an optimistic spirit, and avoid tension.

5. Daily hygiene precautions: Keep the area clean to prevent infection.

6. Reasonable diet: The diet should be rich in vitamin A and vitamin C. Drinking tea can also prevent skin cancer.
