What are the symptoms of early stage uterine cancer

Cervical cancer may not cause any discomfort in the early stage and is often found during physical examinations and censuses. Many patients seek medical attention because of contact vaginal bleeding. During sexual intercourse, defecation and vaginal examination, there is often painless vaginal bleeding. A few patients have increased vaginal discharge, which is pink and has a foul odor. For postmenopausal women, vaginal bleeding should be taken seriously and they should go to the hospital gynecology department for a special examination in time.

Although there are no symptoms, a gynecological examination or cervical smear examination should be conducted every year, which is very helpful for early detection of cervical cancer. For suspicious patients, examinations can also be conducted through colposcopy, biopsy and other methods to detect cervical cancer in the early stage.

Early cervical cancer is usually asymptomatic and has no obvious difference from chronic cervicitis. Sometimes, the cervix may even be smooth, especially in elderly women whose cervix has atrophied. As the disease progresses, patients may experience abnormal vaginal bleeding. Since young women are sexually active, their estrogen levels and frequency are higher, so bleeding is more likely to be the first symptom. In addition, increased vaginal discharge is also a common symptom of cervical cancer, and about 80% of cervical cancer patients have this symptom.

Failure to pay attention to menstrual hygiene, disordered sexual behavior and some chronic cervical diseases, such as cervical erosion, chronic cervicitis, leukoplakia, lacerations, etc., are all related to cervical cancer. If you can overcome the adverse factors and actively treat these chronic cervical diseases, it is also an important measure to prevent cervical cancer.
