Diet for radiotherapy and chemotherapy of endometrial cancer

Diet for radiotherapy and chemotherapy of endometrial cancer

Endometrial cancer originates from malignant tumors of the endometrial glands. It is also called uterine body cancer. It is a common gynecological malignancy. The occurrence of this disease is related to the continuous stimulation of the endometrium by estrogen. It is more common in menopause and postmenopause, and is more common in unmarried, underfertile, obese women, women with hypertension and diabetes. It is often accompanied by polycystic ovary syndrome, functional uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, and ovarian tumors that secrete estrogen. What is the diet during chemotherapy for endometrial cancer? I don’t know what dietary precautions are required during chemotherapy for endometrial cancer?

After menopause, the ovaries secrete less estrogen, while the adrenal glands secrete more androstenedione and convert it into low-activity estrone in the body. Its long-term effect on the endometrium can cause it to proliferate and become malignant. Exogenous estrogen is also one of the causes. There are two types of tumor growth: ① Diffuse type. The cancer invades the entire endometrium, and is polyp-like or cauliflower-like, soft and brittle, with bleeding and necrosis. ② Focal type. It is often located in the fundus and uterine horns, and grows in a localized polyp-like manner, and is prone to early invasion of the muscle layer.
