Sardines are a type of marine fish that is relatively high in nutrients and is also a food that many people like to eat. However, many people are worried that eating sardines may cause some side effects, which may endanger the health of the eater. In fact, sardines generally have no side effects as long as they are consumed normally. However, sardines are not suitable for people with the following health conditions!

1. Gout patients

Sardines are not suitable for gout patients because fish contain purine substances. Gout patients suffer from stroke due to metabolic disorders of purine substances in the body. Therefore, gout patients must be careful not to eat sardines, otherwise it will cause serious consequences.

2. Patients with bleeding disorders

Patients with bleeding disorders, such as thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, vitamin K deficiency, etc., are not suitable to eat or should eat less sardines, because the fish contains certain substances that inhibit platelet aggregation, thereby aggravating bleeding symptoms and causing serious damage to the body.

3. Patients with liver cirrhosis

Sardines are not suitable for people with cirrhosis, because when the body has difficulty producing coagulation factors, and the platelet count is low, they will bleed easily. Therefore, eating sardines will inhibit platelet aggregation, aggravate bleeding symptoms, rapidly worsen the condition, and cause serious damage to the body.

4. Tuberculosis patients

Tuberculosis patients should not eat sardines. If the drugs for treating tuberculosis are taken with sardines, it is easy to cause allergic reactions. In mild cases, nausea, headache, redness of the skin, and corneal congestion may occur. In severe cases, symptoms such as palpitations, numbness and swelling of the body, diarrhea, and difficulty breathing may occur. In even worse cases, cerebral hemorrhage may occur.

5. People who are allergic to seafood

Sardines are not suitable for people who are allergic to seafood. Because some people with allergies may experience fever, itchy skin, vomiting and diarrhea after eating sardines. Therefore, in order to avoid allergies, people with allergies must avoid eating sardines to prevent harm to the body.
