How long does it take for blisters to form after a burn

In fact, people's skin is relatively fragile. If it is accidentally scalded, blisters will quickly appear. Therefore, the skin must be cooled down immediately after the scald to relieve the blistering. If the scald is more serious, the patient cannot handle it at home by himself. He must go to the hospital for treatment in time to prevent shock.

The blister was torn off and watery fluid flowed out.

The diagnosis can be made based on the above clinical manifestations.

The severity of burns and scalds is mainly judged based on the location, area and depth of the burns and scalds. Burns or scalds on the head and face, or those not on the head and face but with large area and deep depth, are considered serious. People with severe burns may go into shock or respiratory or cardiac arrest during transfer, and artificial respiration or external chest massage should be performed immediately. When the injured person is thirsty, you can give him a small amount of hot tea or light salt water. Never let him drink a large amount of boiled water in a short period of time, which may cause cerebral edema.

Cause: Damage caused by high-temperature liquid (eg, boiling water, hot oil), high-temperature solid (hot metal, etc.) or high-temperature steam, and the blisters are broken.

1. In life, children may accidentally knock over thermos or cups and get scalded by water;

2. Before bathing, if parents do not pay attention to the order of adding water, such as pouring hot water first, when taking cold water, if there is no adult to supervise the child and the child sits in the basin by himself or overturns the hot water basin, scalds may easily occur.

3. If the boiling hot soup is placed on the table and a child tries to take it with his hands, the soup may spill over, which is also a common cause of burns. Generally, burns occur on the front chest, head and face.

4. After using the electric iron, it was not put in a safe place. The child thought it was fun and touched it with his hands, resulting in burns on his hands.

5. Adults may get burned accidentally due to work or other reasons. .

First-degree injuries and burns only damage the surface of the skin, causing mild local redness and swelling, no blisters, and obvious pain. You should immediately take off your clothes and socks, soak the wound in cold water for half an hour, and then apply sesame oil or vegetable oil to the wound.

Second-degree injuries and burns are dermis injuries, with local redness, swelling and pain, and blisters of varying sizes. Large blisters can be punctured with a sterilized needle to drain the water from the edge of the blister, then applied with burn ointment and bandaged with appropriate tightness.

Third-degree injuries and burns occur under the skin, and the fat, muscles, and bones are all damaged, and are gray or reddish-brown in color. At this time, you should wrap the wound with a clean cloth and send the patient to the hospital immediately. Do not apply gentian violet or ointment on the wound, as this will affect the observation and treatment of the disease.
