Today we talked about bile duct cancer. Before this, we already know that bile duct cancer is very dangerous and is known as the "king of cancer" because two-thirds of bile duct cancer grows in the liver hilum, a special location where blood vessels are intertwined like wires. Cancer cells in the middle and late stages easily invade the blood vessels and nerve tissues, making treatment difficult. So today we will learn whether bile duct cancer can be cured. Whether bile duct cancer can be cured depends on whether it is diagnosed in time, clinical type, specific pathological characteristics and whether appropriate treatment is taken in time. Choosing the right treatment method is of great clinical significance for the treatment of bile duct cancer patients. Data show that scientific symptomatic treatment methods can increase the three-year survival rate of patients with early and intermediate bile duct cancer from 22% to 76%. Only early detection and early treatment can achieve satisfactory treatment results. Literature reports that the survival time of upper, middle and lower bile duct cancers is (8.75±6.31), (10.31±8.01) and (14.48±12.95) months respectively. The survival time of upper bile duct cancer is the shortest, while that of lower bile duct cancer is the longest. The survival time of invasive, poorly differentiated bile duct cancer with lymph node metastasis and liver metastasis is significantly shortened, indicating a poor prognosis. The prognosis of extrahepatic bile duct cancer that is papillary, moderately or highly differentiated, without lymph node metastasis and liver metastasis is relatively good. The prognosis of different treatment methods is compared, and surgical resection is the best, which is significantly better than simple jaundice reduction surgery. For patients with extrahepatic bile duct cancer who are eligible, radical resection should be performed as early as possible. Although surgical resection can achieve short-term therapeutic effects, the long-term effects are still not ideal and the local recurrence rate is very high. Therefore, new breakthroughs and improvements are needed. Moreover, from the actual case reports, if the treatment of bile duct cancer by traditional Chinese medicine is effective, there are generally few side effects of western medicine treatment. There are already cases of bile duct cancer being cured by traditional Chinese medicine treatment. It can be seen that it is important to choose the appropriate treatment method based on multiple factors. And after treatment, you should still maintain good living habits, especially in terms of diet, to avoid recurrence. |
