How long can you live with advanced testicular cancer

The pollution of the modern environment has made what we eat, drink and breathe no longer pure, which is also the reason for the frequent occurrence of cancer. Testicular cancer always affects the personal safety of patients and the rise and fall of a family. Life is precious. Even in the late stage of testicular cancer, we must fight the disease to the end. So how long can we live in the late stage of testicular cancer? Let's find out.

Andersekbom and others from Karolinska Hospital in Switzerland explained in the latest issue of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute that the above question has been raised for at least 50 years, and it is still unclear why the incidence of testicular cancer is higher in some populations, and there are significant differences in the incidence of testicular cancer in different countries. For example, the incidence of testicular cancer in Switzerland is twice that of Finland and Denmark.

The researchers believe that this difference in incidence cannot be explained simply by differences in genetic genes. Environmental factors, especially the influence of environmental factors in early life, play a very important role in the development of testicular cancer.

To further study the above issues, Ekbom and others surveyed 93,172 Finns who immigrated to Switzerland between 1969 and 1996. The results showed that these immigrants were less likely to develop testicular cancer than the general Swiss residents. The lower incidence of testicular cancer among immigrants was not related to the age of the immigrants or the length of time they lived in Switzerland. Ekbom and others wrote in the research report: "This finding is consistent with our speculation that the risk of testicular cancer is determined early in life and may occur before the fetus is born. Although we do not know what environmental factors lead to an increased risk of prostate cancer, our research results suggest that environmental factors in early life are a major influencing factor."

It mainly depends on whether the treatment method is appropriate and whether the patient's physical function is in good condition. Patients with advanced testicular cancer and their families should pay attention to communicating and exchanging with the attending physician throughout the treatment process in order to understand the treatment situation and the patient's condition in a timely manner, which will help prolong the survival of patients with advanced testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer treatment methods play a role. When testicular cancer reaches the late stage, the tumor cells proliferate very rapidly, and doctors generally do not recommend surgical removal. In clinical practice, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and traditional Chinese medicine are more commonly used for comprehensive treatment.

Among them, chemotherapy with cisplatin-based combination chemotherapy is the preferred treatment method, which has a direct killing effect on cancer tumor cells, but it will inevitably damage normal cells, so the irradiation intensity, range and time should be well controlled.

Since long-term use of radiotherapy and chemotherapy can have toxic side effects on the human body, traditional Chinese medicine can be used for coordination and treatment.

For testicular cancer in the late stage with a wide spread, when the patient's body function is very weak and can no longer tolerate chemotherapy, conservative treatment with traditional Chinese medicine can be used. Traditional Chinese medicine green therapy has the effects of strengthening the body, replenishing evil, replenishing qi and nourishing blood, softening and dispersing nodules. It can improve the patient's immunity, control the progression of the disease, and has obvious advantages in prolonging survival and relieving symptoms. How long can a patient with testicular cancer live in the late stage? It is important to improve the patient's immune function and enhance resistance to cancer. In terms of diet, patients with testicular cancer in the late stage should mainly eat low-calorie, low-fat, high-vitamin foods, and can also take appropriate Chinese medicine for tonifying the spleen and kidney.

The psychological burden on testicular cancer patients is very heavy, so during this process they all want to know how malignant the disease is. The article has explained the relevant pathological knowledge, and then effective care and treatment are carried out according to the actual situation, which can prolong the patient's life in many ways.
