If a man is diagnosed with testicular cancer, he or she must undergo radical orchiectomy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. The cure rate for early testicular cancer is more than 90%, while it is less than 50% in late stages. The typical symptom of testicular cancer in the early stage is swelling and hardness of one testicle. At the same time, imaging tests such as B-ultrasound and CT should be performed to understand the nature of the mass, whether there is lymph node enlargement, metastasis, etc.

Testicular cancer is mainly divided into two categories: germ cell tumors and non-germ cell tumors. Germ cell tumors include seminoma, teratoma, embryonal carcinoma, and choriocarcinoma; non-germ cell tumors include gonadal stromal tumor, gonadal germ cell tumor, rete testis adenoma, interstitial tumor, carcinoid, and residual adrenal tumor. Among them, germ cell tumors account for more than 90% of testicular cancer.
