Symptoms and treatment of dorsal fasciitis

Symptoms and treatment of dorsal fasciitis

In life, many people prefer to do some long-distance walking, mountain climbing, long-term shopping and other things in their free time. Many times, they feel that this is a good way to exercise and will bring benefits to their health. Walking for a long time like this can easily cause some injuries to the instep. When these injuries accumulate slowly, it is easy to suffer from instep fasciitis. Instep fasciitis is closely related to lifestyle habits.

1. Symptoms of dorsal fasciitis: local muscle pain

Chronic persistent soreness and swelling is the most common symptom of fasciitis, but in addition to this, dull pain is also relatively common. Moreover, this pain often presents a feeling of tightness or pressure from a heavy object. We must be sufficiently vigilant about the disease of fasciitis and receive timely and regular treatment after diagnosis.

2. Symptoms of dorsal fasciitis: Ischemic pain

When the patient is partially cold or the whole body is tired and the weather is cold, the pain is often obvious, and often causes pain that wakes up in the middle of the night. It is also common for patients with fasciitis to have stiffness in the affected area when they wake up in the morning. It should be noted that if the patient's affected area is adversely stimulated, the patient's pain will worsen.

3. Symptoms of instep fasciitis: fixed tenderness points

Fixed tenderness points mainly refer to the situation in which patients with fasciitis will obviously be found to have tension, spasm, bulge and contracture of muscles on one side or in some areas during physical examination. In fact, fasciitis is often caused by long-term bad living habits. For example, long-term cold is one of them.

How to treat dorsal fasciitis more effectively

Treatment for instep fasciitis can be surgical. For many patients with instep fasciitis, their symptoms can be relieved by just a short rest. Both heat and massage methods can dissipate nodules and can also effectively relieve painful nodules. Some patients have very stubborn symptoms that are ineffective despite repeated treatments. Then, during the operation, local fascia fissures will be found and fat herniation will occur. The fat and other nearby tissues, like fascia and surrounding cutaneous nerve branches, can become adhered to each other, causing pain. During the operation, the nodule will be removed, the fascia will be repaired, adhesions will be separated, and the cutaneous nerve will be removed. Surgical treatment is effective. However, because fasciitis is a multiple disease, surgery can only solve the symptoms in a certain location.
