Is fibroid a genetic disease?

Is fibroid a genetic disease? Many young fibroid patients, because they have this disease, dare not get married and have children even if they are cured, because they are very afraid that this fibroid disease will be passed on to the next generation. So today we will take a look at whether fibroid is a genetic disease:

Fibromas are composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue. They are common in adults aged 40-50 years old. The tumor grows slowly. When the tumor develops to a certain extent, it generally stops growing. It is a benign tumor composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue. It rarely becomes malignant. The treatment is mainly surgical resection. It is more common in the subcutaneous and grows slowly. It is generally small, with clear edges, smooth surface, hard texture, and can be pushed. If mixed with other components, it becomes fibromyoma, fibroadenoma, fibrolipoma, etc. According to the age and location of onset, it mainly includes juvenile fibromatosis, cervical fibromatosis, infantile fibromatosis, infantile myofibromatosis, lipofibromatosis, etc. The age of onset is mostly between 30 and 50 years old, and it is also not uncommon in children and adolescents. Tumors can occur in large muscles in any part of the body, with the rectus abdominis of the abdominal wall and the aponeurosis of the adjacent muscles being the most common, and they are more common during pregnancy and late pregnancy. Those outside the abdominal wall are more common in men, and they are more common in the scapula, thigh and buttocks.

One of the causes of fibroids is family inheritance. Many female patients with breast fibroids have relatives with the disease. Generally, if the mother has breast fibroids, the daughter is also likely to suffer from it. In addition, if two sisters have breast fibroids, the chance of the disease in the family will be much higher, and this disease will appear after the patient has menopause. Artificial feeding, disharmonious couple life, frequent depression, excessive obesity, etc. are all causes of fibroids. Therefore, patients must take timely prevention, control their weight, maintain a good mood, and insist on breastfeeding and avoid abortions. These are important and key to preventing the disease.
