What are the typical symptoms of fibroids

What are the typical symptoms of fibroids? Many people want to know what fibroids are, because you may have heard of or met someone with fibroids around you, but you are not very familiar with this disease. Today we will take a look at the typical symptoms of fibroids:

Fibroids are benign tumors derived from fibrous connective tissue. There are different types of fibroids due to their different components. Fibroids are widely distributed in the human body and form the gaps between organs, so fibroids can occur in any part of the body. The skin and subcutaneous tissue are the most common, and fibroids can also occur in the fascia, periosteum, nasopharynx and other mucosal tissues, as well as other organs such as breasts, ovaries, and kidneys. They vary in size and grow slowly.

Common symptoms: normal skin surface, smooth and movable swelling under the skin, no tenderness

1. The tumor grows slowly and generally has no other symptoms.

2. The skin on the tumor surface is normal, and a smooth, movable, round mass can be felt under the skin. It is painless, has clear boundaries, and is hard in texture.

3. Fibroma is composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue, which is common in adults aged 40-50. The tumor grows slowly and generally stops growing after it develops to a certain extent. It is a benign tumor and rarely becomes malignant. The treatment is mainly surgical resection.

According to the age and location of onset, the main types of tumors include juvenile fibromatosis, cervical fibromatosis, infantile fibromatosis, infantile myofibromatosis, and lipofibromatosis. The age of onset is mostly between 30 and 50 years old, and it is also common in children and adolescents. Tumors can occur in large muscles anywhere in the body, with the rectus abdominis and the aponeurosis of the adjacent muscles of the abdominal wall being the most common, and are more common during pregnancy and late pregnancy. Those outside the abdominal wall are more common in men, and are more common in the scapula, thigh, and buttocks.
