How to treat fibroids

How to treat fibroids

There are a lot of cells in a person's body, and cells are indispensable to everyone. However, some people now have certain problems with their bodies, causing the cells to become cancerous, that is, they suffer from fibroids. Let's take a look at how to treat fibroids through the following article.

1. Use multiple radiations to inhibit or kill fibroid cells.

(1) There are two application methods: external irradiation (such as various treatment machines) and internal irradiation (such as inserting radium needles into tissues).

(2) Various fibroids have different sensitivities to radiation and can be classified into three categories: ① Highly sensitive: such as lymphohematopoietic system fibroids, gonadal fibroids, etc., which are suitable for radiotherapy and have good results. ② Moderately sensitive: such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, cervical cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, etc., radiotherapy can be used as part of comprehensive treatment. ③ Low sensitivity: such as gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma, soft tissue and bone sarcoma, etc., radiotherapy is not effective.

2. Chemotherapy: Use chemical drugs to kill fibroid cells. Chemical drugs can only kill a certain percentage of fibroid cells, and there is still a chance of recurrence after treatment. The combined use of multiple types of drugs is a possible way to control recurrence and reduce toxic side effects.

3. Immunotherapy: It can be divided into ① non-specific immunotherapy: such as vaccination with BCG, measles vaccine, application of interferon, transfer factor, etc. ② specific immunotherapy: vaccination with autologous or allogeneic tumor vaccine or fibroid tumor immune RNA, etc.

4. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment: It has a certain effect on the treatment of fibroids, and can also reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, reduce the pain of patients, and improve the treatment effect and quality of life. It can be used in conjunction with radiotherapy, chemotherapy or pre- and post-operative treatment.

Above, our experts have explained the relevant care methods for fibroid diseases from several aspects. However, if patients with fibroids still want to be cared for, what we need to know is that patients with fibroids should be given certain treatment in the early stages of the disease, because any disease, especially patients with fibroids, are best treated in the early stages of the disease.
