Biliary duct tumors are one of the most common tumors in the hepatobiliary system. The onset of bile duct tumors is relatively fast, and the symptoms of bile duct tumors are easily ignored, so many times patients miss precious treatment time. So, if the best treatment period is seized, can bile duct tumors be cured? There are many treatments and control methods for bile duct tumors in clinical practice. Therefore, in order to better curb the further spread and development of the disease, we must have a deep grasp of some good clinical treatment methods. Only by comprehensive preparation can we achieve twice the result with half the effort. What are the treatments for bile duct tumors? (1) Simple bile duct resection: If the cancer is limited to the mucosal layer or submucosal layer, simple bile duct resection can achieve the goal of radical cure. This situation is often seen in cases where bile duct tumors are found after resection of bile duct stones or bile duct sarcoidosis. (2) Biliary resection plus regional lymph node dissection: The tumor invades the muscular layer or the entire layer of the bile duct and the bile duct lymph nodes metastasize. The gallbladder is removed and the lymph nodes within the hepatoduodenal ligament, the lymph nodes behind the pancreatic head, and the eighth group of lymph nodes are removed. (3) Combined partial hepatectomy: For bile duct base cancer with liver infiltration, combined partial hepatectomy and lymph node removal are performed. If adjacent organs (such as the transverse colon or duodenum) are infiltrated, the resection range should be expanded. (4) Combined extrahepatic bile duct resection: For cancer of the bile duct neck or bile duct, or involvement of the extrahepatic bile duct with obstructive jaundice, bile duct resection is performed, and the affected bile duct is removed at the same time, lymph nodes are cleared, and a hilar bile duct-jejunostomy with Roux-en-Y anastomosis is performed. (5) Palliative surgery: For patients with advanced bile duct tumors who have lost the opportunity for radical surgery, the treatment goal is to remove the main lesions, bile duct drainage, digestive tract diversion, etc. After surgery, combined treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy are used to improve the quality of life and prolong life. The treatment of bile duct tumors must be combined with the patient's actual situation to make a final judgment. I hope everyone can carefully study the relevant symptoms of the disease, so as to reduce the patient's mental stress to a certain extent and lay a good foundation for effectively promoting physical recovery. |
